Christian Jackson & Maliyah Russell

From February 14, 2026, to the end of time, our lives have been changed forever, but Heavenly Father, we understand that your will must be done. We may not understand your decision, but we refuse to be ungrateful and selfish because of all the joy that Christian Jackson and Maliyah Russell brought into our lives.

 As a family, we find comfort in knowing that a loving and compassionate God knows what’s best for each of us; although; their lives appear to be brief, we’ve shared so many fun memories, countless hours of laughter and so much love. When we start to miss them, we will remember their radiant smile, and how they radiated each of our lives. When the tears start to flow, we will remember the joy that they brought into our lives and what amazing little angels they were then and will always be for each of us. 

Through all the happiness we’ve ever known, we’ll be grateful for their stay. When the angels called them much sooner than we’d planned, we will brace the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.

Christian and Maliyah departed this life on February 14, 2026.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 1 p.m. at  Elder Middle School Gymnasium, Sandersville, GA. Rev. Tracy Wheeler Sr. officiated. 
 

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
